About Live the Dream Narrowboats & Fradley Marina
Over the ten years we’ve spent creating dream luxury narrowboats we often thought about building a marina to match the ethos of our amazing boats. We wanted to create something that was contemporary & easy going but underpinned with a reassuringly practical level of knowledge, attention to quality & detail.
In 2015 an opportunity presented itself to purchase seven acres of land on the banks of the Trent & Mersey canal. It was an opportunity that was too good to miss, so, after a few years of negotiation with the powers that be, we broke ground in early 2018 and expect to welcome our first berth-holders soon.
So, Live the dream Narrowboats is now based at the rapidly developing Fradley Marina, right next to the historic Fradley Junction, where the Trent and Mersey and Coventry canals meet. The peaceful location and small but knowledgeable team are inspired by everything that goes to make up today’s canal lifestyle and they use this as a basis for designing, building and fitting out the boats our customers dream of owning. Once you’re kitted out with a fantastic boat we can soon offer you the security of a leisure mooring to berth your new home, even if that’s just whilst you get to know her.
The skilled and careful team at Fradley are dedicated to interpreting your ideas and producing a boat that you will love and enjoy for many years. However, should you ever come to sell her, your boat will hold her value in the second hand market thanks to the core quality of build and fit that comes with every Live the Dream narrowboat.
We love to share new ideas, we love trying new designs, ideas and products and we love bringing imagination to life. Whilst most of the boats we build are specifically made for clients, we are always realising our latest ideas in what we call our own ‘demonstrator’ boats so that we normally have new luxury canal boat for sale for people that simply can’t wait to get on the water.
Every boat we build is inspected and certified by an independent surveyor ensuring that all our customers benefit from complete peace of mind.
