We will have a capacity for around 60 boats and every mooring will have direct access to metered electricity, wi-fi & fresh drinking water. Nearby will be waste disposal, sanitary facilities, a purpose-built shower block and a victorian style workshop with disabled showers, toilets and washing machines.
If all that sounds like the kind of mooring you’d like to keep your boat at then why not drop us a line.
Your mooring fees include a designated car parking space for one vehicle and extra guest parking can be booked. Also included in your fees is the use of the DIY mooring on a booking basis.
Access to the marina will be through electric gates operated via an electronic device for which a deposit will be required. Electricity use will be charged on a monthly basis via statement. The washing and drying machines will be coin operated and there will be a disabled washroom facility in the offices area attached to the workshop building.
Mooring fees will be charged according to where you are located in the marina and are irrespective of the length of your boat. Most of our moorings will be between 60ft and 70ft in length and where the length of two boats total no more than the length of the pontoon then the mooring fees can be shared. We also acknowledge that some of our customers cannot pay large sums of mooring fees in advance to secure a discount therefore all prices are fixed irrespective of whether they are paid annually in advance or monthly.
We will have moorings that are more suitable for customers with mobility restrictions and we reserve the right to move berth holders in order to give preference to those who require this facility. These moorings will come with a parking space located as close to the mooring as possible.
The marina is privately owned and operated. The owners will be available on site should any client wish to discuss their mooring but we will actively encourage holders to create respectful and tolerant relationships. The marina is designated for leisure use but we welcome high usage guests as much as weekend boaters.
If all that sounds like the kind of mooring you’d like to enjoy then please call us for details.
All berth holders will be asked to sign a mooring contract. This is not intended to be onerous but encourage a community where boaters look out for each other’s welfare and property.
Winter moorings may be available from time to time but please call to discuss your requirements.
