Narrowboat painting & blacking services

For narrowboat painting, before our on-site workshops are open, we already offer a full consultation opportunity to discuss colours and designs. We have access to facilities that provide the very best in paint finishes achieved in a controlled environment. Sign writing, decals and traditional hand painting methods are used to create a finish to be proud of.

We will also offer a full blacking service including grit blasting where required and either a two-pack epoxy or standard bitumen coatings. Prices will be confirmed once the marina is open.

When it’s complete our workshop will be available for self-hire, subject to availability and will include a jet wash. Bookings for self-hire will be available for a four or seven day period. The full painting service detailed above will also be available on-site when our slipway and workshops are open.

Slipway, Workshop & Dry Dock

Following completion of the marina mooring basins, associated works and connection to the Trent and Mersey Canal, we will have a fully operational slipway and workshop that will be able to hold two narrow-beam vessels up to 72ft in length. The slipway will allow easy removal of boats from our marina on a trailer.

This cost-effective removal method means your boat can come out of the water without the need to organise expensive crane hire and your vessel can sit on a dolly trailer in our dry dock so the entire hull can be examined, blacked, repaired and sonic tested where necessary. To find out how you can hire the slipway and rent a space in our dry dock please drop us a line.
