Financing your narrowboat build

Loans are available from £5,000 upwards and there are options with and without deposits. The online application process is quick and easy, and you’ll often get a response within an hour.

The whole process is seamless right down to the loan being made directly to you so you can make your payments to us after we provide evidence of work completed.

Contract and payment
All our narrowboats are built under a standard contract based on the British Marine Federation wording. Payment is agreed at the start of the build and is normally taken through instalments at key staging points over the build programme for your boat.
A final balance payment falls due once the boat is complete and you have enjoyed your handover day.
Certification
Every boat we build is inspected and certified by an independent surveyor. This ensures that all our customers benefit from complete peace of mind for both the build quality and safety or every canal boat that leaves our yard.
